
ArmInfo.On June 2, the Government of the Republic of Armenia made a decision to allocate 7 billion 783 million drams for construction work under the Road Network Improvement Project.
According to Gnel Sanosyan, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of Armenia, about 7 billion 679 million drams of the indicated amount will be allocated for construction work, 46 million 326 thousand drams - for technical control services, and approximately 57.6 million drams for author's control services.
In total, it is planned to carry out work on 62.5 km of roads, of which 8.5 km. is of interstate importance, 39.5 km. -republican importance and 14.6 km. -regional (local) importance . In particular, the M-3 interstate highways, the border with Turkey-Margara-Vanadzor-Tashir-Georgian border (Vardanashen, Yeraskhakhun, Jrashen, Lusagyukh), the Abovyan-Arzni republican highway, Nor-Geghi-Argel-Arzakan- Hrazdan highway will be reconstructed , Ijevan, Itsakar section of Ijevan-Navur-Berd-Aygepar the republican road will be reconstructed. The works will start in June 2022 and will be completed by the end of the year.
