Armenia, Korea stress necessity to conclude intergovernmental  agreement on cooperation in customs matters

ArmInfo. As part of WCO Concil's 139th and 140th annual session held on June 23-25 in  Brussels, Chairman of SRC Rustam Badasyan had a working meeting with  Head of Korea Customs Service Tae-sik Yoon.

As the press service of the Committee reports, the parties discussed  a broad range of issues of bilateral concern and outlined prospects  for future cooperation.    The parties stressed the necessity to sign a bilateral  intergovernmental agreement on cooperation and mutual assistance in  customs matters between the two countries.  Possibilities of  cooperation between the customs services of Armenia and Korea in  electronic trade and smart risk management were also discussed during  the meeting. An agreement was reached to undertake a cognitive visit  by employees of SRC to Korea to familiarize with the activity of  local information systems.  The parties expressed willingness to take  all efforts to extend future cooperation.
