ArmInfo. Sisian Poghosian, President of the Tourism Committee of Armenia, hosted Mr Gagik Israelyan, Founding Director of STARMUS VI Festival.
Representatives of Armenia's travel agencies participated in the meeting.
The participants were briefed on the main message of the festival, programme and planned events.
The events include panel discussions and concerts with renowned musicians' participation, a Star Party in Garni. Tents will be put up in Liberty Square dedicated to different research topics with free public access. A panel discussion entitled "A 108-minute roundtable" will take place at the Zvartnots museum of history and culture, with many other popular science events.
Renowned musicians, scientists, including Nobel Prize laureates, will visit Armenia.
It is going to be an eventful festival, with the ticket prices symbolic as compared with prices in Europe.
"In contrast to Europe, where the ticket price is 700 Euro, we have decided to fix the minimum possible price for tickets to the Festival - AMD 25,000 ($60) for participants and AMD 20,000 ($50) for students - for all the four days of lectures," Mr Israelyan said.
