Armenia imposes ban on export of raw leather of cattle, sheep, horses  for a period of 6 months

ArmInfo. The Armenian government introduces a ban on the export of raw leather of cattle, sheep, horses for a period of 6 months. The Ministry of Economy of  Armenia reports on its Facebook page.

Such a decision is due to the intention to protect local production,  provide a raw material base, thereby stimulating the activity of the  manufacturing industry in Armenia and provide an opportunity for  companies in the sector to expand production volumes and increase the  competitiveness of products.

It is reported that the restrictions will be in effect until January  8, 2023.
