ArmInfo.According to the Asian Banking & Finance Wholesale and Retail Banking Awards 2022 annually held by Asian Banking & Finance, an international business publication, Ardshinbank was recognized as the Best Retail Bank of the Year in Armenia for the third consecutive time.
Following the competition results, the expert jury highly evaluated Ardshinbank retail services, as well as their effectiveness with consumers. The number of nominations reached a new high this year, which suggests that the financial services sector continues to deliver good growth and remains competitive even in volatile economic conditions.
According to Artak Khachatryan, Ardshinbank Director for Retail Business, the Asian Banking & Finance Award is another achievement among our prestigious international awards recognized by independent evaluator. Remote banking services are becoming increasingly important in our relations with customers. In its activities, the bank has been actively investing in information technology and digitalization, so that the customers can access as many banking products online as possible and they are free them from the need to visit the bank personally. More than 80 percent of Ardshinbank banking services for individual customers are available also remotely. Today, through the Ardshinbank mobile application, customers can raise and repay loans, make deposits, obtain insurance, manage their accounts, make any payment, including to the state budget, exchange foreign currency at a more favorable rate, make contactless payments directly by phone using ArdshinPay or Apple Pay. Our latest product is Visa Gold digital cards, which are the first steps in Ardshinbank new customer service format on the way to the bank of the future. It is encouraging that the international experts highly appreciated once again the work we do.
It is worth noting that Global Finance, Euromoney and The Banker repeatedly recognized Ardshinbank as the Best Bank in Armenia, while the Eurobonds issue by Ardshinbank was recognized as Deal of the Year in Europe.
In May 2022, Ardshinbank became one of the first banks to join a government-designed program according to which pensioners and people who receive a pension with Ardshinbank cards receive 10% cashback when paying for goods and services, including utility bills. Given that Ardshinbank retired customer base is about 50,000 people, this program can be considered global and systemic in Armenia.
