ArmInfo.Chairman of State Revenue Committee Rustam Badasyan received US Ambassador to Armenia Lynne Tracy, the press service o the RA SRC reports.
During the meeting, the chairman praised the effective cooperation established between Armenia and the US in tax and customs administration sectors, and the ambassador's personal contribution in enhancing bilateral relations.
The chairman stressed the importance of the current activities related to export monitoring and the border security program, the trainings held in the context of the program aimed at operational coordination of the activities of public authorities carrying out joint border management, and active and systemized involvement of authorities carrying out border control in comprehensive border management activities.
During the meeting, ideas were exchanged regarding the steps aimed toward enhancing mutual cooperation between Armenia and the US in customs and tax sectors. The parties expressed willingness to ensure continuous cooperation.
