ArmInfo. Formation of common industry markets in the energy sector becomes not just a task on the implementation of the provisions of the agreement, but a necessary condition for realizing the potential of economic integration of the resource platform for the full development of the industrial sector in the EAEU, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated during the meeting of the Intergovernmental Council of the EAEU, which is being held in Yerevan on October 21 in an expanded format.
He stressed that Armenia is ready for a constructive dialogue based on mutual understanding and taking into account the interests of all the countries of the Union on the settlement of individual annexes of the draft international agreement on the formation of a common gas market, the implementation of which will make it possible to take full advantage of the common gas market.
"Otherwise, until the end of the bilateral agreements, the EAEU member states will not be able to use the potential of the common gas market. Of course, this is a very sensitive topic, and we all need understanding on the issue of the price horizon, at least for the medium term," he stressed.
