In 2023, Armenia will allocate 144 billion drams to Nagorno-Karabakh

ArmInfo. In 2023, Armenia will allocate 144 billion drams (about 355 million US dollars) to  Nagorno-Karabakh, the estimated exchange rate of the Armenian dram to  the dollar is fixed at 404.74 drams per $.

This is stated in the budget message of the draft state budget for next year.  In addition,  in 2023 it is planned to implement a new "Program of state support  for affordable housing for internally displaced persons from certain  regions of the Republic of Artsakh". As part of the program, 1,283  families will be able to purchase residential real estate or build an  individual residential building.  In 2022, Armenia more than doubled  the size of the interstate loan provided to the Republic of Artsakh  on favorable terms (144 billion drams or 291.7 million US dollars  (settlement rate of the Armenian dram to the dollar is 493.6 drams),  against 64.8 billion drams ($131.2 million) provided by the state  budget for 2021).

A budget loan is provided to the Republic of Artsakh with a maturity  date of January 1, 2027, with an y-o-y interest rate of 0.01% (except  for cases when an agreement has been reached between the governments  of the Republic of Artsakh and the Republic of Artsakh regarding  other terms of repayment of loans).
