ArmInfo.The Central Bank of Armenia continues to raise the refinancing rate - this time from 10.5% to 10.75%, exceeding the previous historical maximum (10.5% in 2015) and reaching a new record level. As the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia told ArmInfo, this decision was made on December 13 at a meeting of the Board of the Central Bank.
The message of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia also notes that, in accordance with this, the Lombard repo facility rate was increased by 0.25 percentage points - from 12% to 12.25%, and the Deposit facility rate - from 9% to 9.25 %.
Martin Galstyan, Governor of the Central Bank, presented detailed information on this decision of the Central Bank Board today at 15:30 at the press conference.
