ArmInfo. Vahe Hovhannisyan has been appointed the new Minister of Finance of Armenia. RA President Vahagn Khachaturyan signed the corresponding decree.
"Taking into account the proposal of the Prime Minister, in accordance with Article 131 of the RA Constitution and Part 1 of Article 5 of the Law "On the Structure and Activities of the Government", appoint Vahe Hovhannisyan as the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Armenia," the decree of the head of state reads.
It should be noted that Vahe Hovhannisyan, who previously held the position of Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Armenia, took the vacant position of the Minister after his predecessor Tigran Khachatryan was appointed Deputy Prime Minister after the resignation of Hambardzum Matevosyan.
