ArmInfo. In 2023, the tariff for final consumers of electricity in Armenia will remain unchanged. The decision on this was made on December 28 at a meeting of the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC).
As a result of the analysis of all positive and negative factors, the Commission came to the conclusion that there is no need to revise the tariffs for electricity sold to consumers by Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC. Thus, as noted at the PSRC meeting, the current tariffs will remain unchanged for all categories of consumers. One of the main factors that contributed to the maintenance of tariffs was the revaluation of the dram against foreign currencies.
At the same time, it was emphasized at the meeting that following the results of studies initiated by the Commission, new tariffs for large facilities of the country's electricity market were approved.
