ArmInfo.Within the framework of his working visit to Germany, Armenian Economy Minister Vahan Kerobyan in Berlin met with Parliamentary State Secretary of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development Niels Annen.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, the parties discussed the possibilities of further cooperation, in particular in the field of renewable energy, green hydrogen production, tourism, decentralized cooperation, stimulating labor productivity, etc.
Minister Kerobyan thanked the German side for the re-inclusion of Armenia in the list of transformational partners of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Development and Cooperation. The meeting was also attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to Germany Viktor Yengibaryan and Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia Rafayel Gevorgyan.
It should be noted that according to the Statistical Service of Armenia, the foreign trade turnover between Armenia and Germany in January-November 2022, amounted to $454.8 million, which exceeded the figure of a year ago by 79.2%. In particular, exports exceeded $97.4 million, with a y-o-y growth of 35.9%, imports increased by 96.2% to $357.4 million.
