
ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will take part in Eurasian Intergovernmental Council's meeting (EIC) in Almaty. The information was confirmed to ArmInfo in the press service of the head of the Armenian Cabinet.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, on February 2-3, 2023, a regular meeting of the EIC and the international digitalization forum "Digital Almaty: Digital Partnership in a New Reality" will be held in Almaty. The event will be attended by the heads of government of Kazakhstan, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
According to the ministry, Representatives of observer states to the EAEU, the CIS Secretary General, heads of the Eurasian Development Bank and the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development are also invited to the meeting. The heads of government of the EAEU at a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Almaty will sign an agreement on coordinated approaches to the regulation of foreign exchange legal relations, said Aibek Smadiyarov, official representative of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry. "The agenda of the EIC meeting, which will traditionally be held in narrow and expanded formats, covers a wide range of issues of trade and economic cooperation, technical regulation, the EAEU integrated information system and other topical issues. On February 3, the prime ministers of the EAEU countries will take part in the plenary session of the annual Forum Digital Almaty. Traditionally, prominent political and public figures, heads of large digital companies, IT business leaders and digital industry experts are expected to participate in the forum," the Kazakh Foreign Ministry said. In addition, the forum will host an international exhibition of thematic projects and the Digital Almaty Awards ceremony.
