ArmInfo.Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Khachatryan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Armenia, Ms. Anne Louyot.
According to the press service of the government, during the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister noted that he highly appreciates France's commitment to the development and deepening of economic cooperation with Armenia. He also attached importance to France's assistance to the Armenian government in the implementation of reforms, highlighting the implementation of consistent work aimed at fulfilling the roadmap for Armenian-French economic cooperation in 2021-2026.
Touching upon the presence of large French companies in Armenia, Ms. Louyot expressed readiness on behalf of the French side to continue to assist Armenia in the context of the implementation of both short- term programs and long-term strategic reforms.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibilities of developing cooperation within the framework of programs of mutual interest.
It is reported that Khachatryan and Ms. Anne Louyot also touched upon the humanitarian situation in Artsakh, which has developed as a result of the blockade by Azerbaijan.
