ArmInfo. The Armenian Smile Food LLC, which is engaged in the export of Armenian products to the Japanese market, took part in the SMTS 2023 large international exhibition (Supermarket Trade Show), which was held on February 15-17.
According to the representatives of the company, such Armenian companies as: Fruit food, Ibari, Yan, Aregi, Camellia, Homeland, Ot Martina, Grand Candy, Mountea, Galilee, Harvy, Shokochir, Mountea, Galilee, Harvy, Shokochir, Honey.am, Kanach group, Proshyan food, Tonyans family, Mark Sevouni, presented their products to international food retailers in a small Armenian pavilion. According to the organizers, it took quite a lot of effort to bring Armenian products to the "capricious and demanding" Japanese market, "a market that is different from the rest of the world, where the consumer thinks in completely different categories."
Smile Food LLC encourages other Armenian producers to be represented in the rich and interesting Japanese market.
It should be noted that the National Supermarket Association of Japan (NSAJ) is the organizer of the SMTS . About 10 thousand local and foreign manufacturers are permanent participants of the annual exhibition
