
ArmInfo.Armenia and France have established new business ties, the press serve of Armenia's Ministry of Economy reports referring to the results of the Economic Summit in Paris, France, on February 24.
The summit enabled French and Armenian businessmen to get acquainted with each other's business and production activities, as well as discuss cooperation prospects.
On the sidelines of the Summit, Armenia's Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan participated in a panel discussion on IT and green sustainable economy.
The France-Armenia Economic Summit was announced following Mr Kerobyan's meeting with French Ambassador to Armenia Anne Louyot. The Summit was to take place in Paris, February 24, to present Armenia's economic potential to French businessmen and enhance the efficiency of the potential of Armenia-France economic cooperation in green and sustainable economy, agriculture and high-tech industry.
Last year, Armenia-France trade totaled $122.4mln - a 29.6% growth as compared with 2021. Armenia's exports to France totaled $9.8mln (a 7.8% decline), with the country's imports from France totaling $112.6mln (a 34.4% growth).
