Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to Armenia Kristina Kvien said this during the meetings with Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan, Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan, and Central Bank of Armenia Governor Martin Galstyan.
As stated in the message of the US Embassy in Armenia, the head of the US diplomatic mission stressed that a secure and prosperous Armenia benefits both our countries.
It should be noted that according to the RA Statistical Committee, the foreign trade turnover between Armenia and the United States in 2022 increased by 2.2 times, amounting to $464.7 million. At the same time, exports decreased by 4.4% to $78.2 million, while imports showed a 3.1-fold increase to $386.5 million.
