ArmInfo.Armenia and Egypt have discussed possible cooperation in renewable energy and energy infrastructures, Armenia's Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure reports.
At their meeting on March 13, Armenia's Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan and Egyptian Ambassador to Armenia Serenade Soliman Gamil discussed the relevant issues. Attending the meeting were representatives of the Egyptian multinational electrical company Elsewedy Electric Group.
The sides discussed Armenia's investment potential and a number of issues of mutual interest.
Mr Sanosyan said that Armenia's infrastructures are rapidly developing. He pointed out that construction, reconstruction and re-equipment of Armenia's energy grid is mainly carried out by means of international tenders. Mr Sanosyan proposed that Egyptian companies to consider their possible participation.
