
ArmInfo.Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of Armenia Gnel Sanosyan met with Deputy Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili .
The parties discussed the prospects for deepening bilateral cooperation in the fields of aviation, transport and energy. At the same time, the interlocutors noted with satisfaction the growth in the activity of interaction in the energy sector.
The ministers attached importance to the holding of the Armenian-Georgian business forum in the context of strengthening economic ties between the countries. In this regard, the Deputy Prime Minister of Georgia, referring to the large number of Forum participants, expressed confidence that effective results would be registered at the end of the event.
It should be noted that the Armenian-Georgian business forum is being held in Tbilisi on April 5-7.
According to the RA Statistical Committee, the foreign trade turnover between Armenia and Georgia in 2022 amounted to 301 million, with a y-o-y growth of 58.2%. At the same time, exports doubled to 156.2 million, while imports grew by 18.6% to 144.8 million.
