
ArmInfo.RA Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Kristine Ghalechyan received a delegation led by Klaus Papenburg, a German entrepreneur, a representative of the GP Papenburg large construction holding.
According to the press service of the state department, Klaus Papenburg presented the main activities of his company and the experience of international cooperation in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia and a number of European countries. From the Armenian side, the meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of Armenia Kristine Ghalechyan and Executive Director of the "Road Department" Fund Gor Avetisyan According to the source, Gor Avetisyan presented to the guests the problems in the field of road construction, the applied innovative technologies and equipment, the successes achieved in the industry and the vision for the future. Kristine Ghalechyan spoke about Armenia's investment opportunities in the areas of IT, renewable energy, agriculture, tourism, road construction, etc. She noted that the quality of road construction work carried out by German companies and the technologies used are in demand in Armenia as well. At the end of the meeting, the Deputy Minister suggested that GP Papenburg take an active part in the tender processes for the implementation of large infrastructure projects in Armenia. Honorary Consul of RA in the Saxony-Anhalt region of GDR, Lukas Floter, also participated in the meeting.
