ArmInfo.More than half of the population of Armenia (55%) feel insecure, anxious, afraid of the future, or completely disappointed, and do not believe in any reforms. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by Breavis in January-March 2023 commissioned by IRI.
Haykaz Fanyan, head of the Armenian Center for Socio- Economic Studies (ACSES), who shared this information on his Facebook page, believes that this data is a key behavioral indicator that can significantly limit economic growth in Armenia. "The feeling of insecurity among more than half of the Armenian population is a serious problem for the country's economy," the analyst stressed.
According to the economist, in the medium term (2-5 years), the impact of this factor on economic growth, or rather on its "curb", will average at least 1.5 percentage points in year.
