ArmInfo.The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic hosted a business forum, which discussed the development of Armenian-Czech trade, cooperation in investment and business ties.
Mr Radek Jakubsky, Vice-President of the Czech Chamber of Commerce, and Frantisek Chaloupecky, Vice-President of the Confederation of Industry, informed the participants of the business routine in the Czech Republic, investments and economic activities. Armenia's Deputy Minister of Economy Narek Teryan and representatives of Enterprise Armenia, TUMO, Jasmine Home Textile delivered speeches at the forum.
In conclusion, Armenian and Czech business circles held B2B meetings and established new business ties.
Last year, Armenian-Czech trade totaled $38.5mln (an 82.9% growth). Exports totaled $1.9mln (a 22.8% decline), with imports totaling $36.6mln (a 2-fold growth).
