ArmInfo. The RF Trade Representation in Armenia has organized an online presentation of the ROBBO company, a Russia-based producer of robot modules, for Armenia's Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports and education centers.
The ROBBO company is a developer and producer of EdTech robot modules based in Saint Petersburg, Russia. It has industrial premises in Saint Petersburg and in Finland, and opened its offices with the assistance of the Finnish and Japanese governments.
RF Trade Representative in Armenia Anna Donchenko popinted out a high number of participants - over 50 representatives of Armenian organizations. She highlighted the importance of Armenian-Russian cooperation in general and post-secondary education.
Andrey Kravtsov, Sales Manager, ROBBO company, presented the ROBBO education platform, software for training innovator-engineers majoring in creative software engineering, circuit design, microelectronics, mobile robotics, Internet of Things, 3D- prototyping, and 3D-printing.
Mr Kravtsov also provided information on the traditional Scrtach international competition in creative software engineering and invited Armenian partners. "The results of education using the ROBBO platform are young people involved in innovative engineering projects, a growing number of students wishing to major in technologies, the country's developing engineering industry," he said.
Armenian educationists showed special interest in the ROBBO module enabling children to install sensors, as well as distance refresher courses for teachers developed with the Russian A. I. Herzen State Pedagogical University (http://robbo.ru/course).
