ArmInfo.As of May 26 this year, more than 150,000 households of the republic already have access to  Team Telecom Armenia's powerful NGN network. This is stated in the message of the telecommunications operator.

Giving priority to the development of communities, the company has  carried out a large amount of work in recent months in the regions,  in particular, in Syunik, Gegharkunik and Kotayk regions. "It is  important for us to build in the regions such infrastructures that in  the long term will lead to local economic activity and, consequently,  to strengthening the opportunities of the population. Recently, our  team has been especially active in the Syunik region, covering more  than 50% of households with the NGN network>, CEO of Team Telecom  Armenia Hayk Yesayan said.

Along with the work in the region, the company also started building  a network in the Kentron community of Yerevan, which is the  administrative region with the highest demand for such high-speed  Internet.  The NGN network with a speed of 25 Gbit / s is fully or  partially available in the cities of Hrazdan, Nor- Hachn, Armavir,  Metsamor, Alaverdi, Spitak, Ijevan, Kapan, Kajaran, Vardenis, Sisian  and Jermuk, in the villages of Haghartsin and Gndevaz, as well as in   Yerevan communities of Davitashen, Arabkir, Kanaker-Zeytun and Nor  Nork.

Team Telecom Armenia provides Internet, digital television, mobile  and fixed communication services in Armenia. Since 2021, the company  has begun construction of a unique NGN (Next Generation Network)  network in the region with a speed of 25 Gbps using 25G-PON  technology. In the near future, mobile stations operating throughout  Armenia will be connected to this network, thanks to which the  quality of mobile communication will improve significantly.
