ArmInfo. Armenian enterprises - participants of the INNOPROM- 2023 industrial exhibition-forum held a number of business meetings, as a result of which preliminary agreements on further cooperation were reached. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Armenia.
In particular, the Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan and his deputy Narek Teryan also took part in the INNOPROM-2023 exhibition, which takes place from on 10 -13 in Yekaterinburg on the theme: "Sustainable production: renewal strategies".
According to the source, Vahan Kerobyan noted that the reforms aimed at improving the business environment, which have been carried out over the past 5 years, are yielding results today. In this regard, he said that 4 IT companies were established in Armenia, the total capitalization of which reached $1 billion.
"Last year, 12,000 companies were opened in Armenia, the volume of foreign direct investment reached $1 billion, which is more than 5% of GDP," he stressed.
It should be noted that INNOPROM is an international industrial exhibition in Russia, which has been held in Yekaterinburg annually since 2010. The business program of the INNOPROM-2023 exhibition is extensive and includes, in addition to the strategic session, a number of different events divided into thematic tracks: new mobility, international cooperation, digital production, new industrial technologies, industrial IT, industry financing, educational solutions for industry, etc.
The exhibition is attended by Russian and foreign companies presenting their innovative developments and projects. The forum is held in the form of plenary sessions, round tables, business meetings and negotiations, discussions, presentation sessions, master classes, in which businessmen, experts, scientists and politicians from Russia and abroad take part.
About 60 representatives of Russian regions, more than 40 thousand representatives of industrial enterprises and dealer companies are expected to participate.
