
ArmInfo. An exhibition for wine industry professionals dedicated to Armenian wine and winemakers - ArmWine - has ended in St. Petersburg. The exhibition is held for the second year in a row by the efforts of the Vine and Wine Foundation of Armenia and the ArmWine company.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy, this year 36 Armenian wine-making companies took part in the exhibition, presenting more than 200 types of wines. In addition, oenologists, brand representatives, sommeliers, organizers of wine tours became participants of the exhibition. The guests also had the opportunity to get acquainted with Armenian tour operators specializing in the field of enogastronomic tours.
Within the framework of ArmWine, a panel discussion was held with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia Arman Khojoyan. During the discussion, he presented the problems of the sector, export-related obstacles, touched upon the necessary legal regulations, steps aimed at strengthening the position of Armenian wine in the EAEU market. The ArmWine exhibition was first held in St. Petersburg in 2022. The program of the exhibition includes circular wine tastings, presentations of wine buyers and sellers, panel discussions, speeches by wine experts, blind tastings, B2B, B2C meetings.
