
ArmInfo. The programmes developed and implemented as part of the Economic and Investment Plan are of key importance for Armenia's sustainable socio-economic development, Armenia's Vice-Premier Mher Grigoryan and Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia Andrea Wiktorin stated at their meeting.
Mher Grigoryan, thanked the EU Ambassador for the important work done, noted the efforts made by her, especially in a difficult period for Armenia.
Andrea Wiktorin, in turn, thanked for the effective cooperation that has developed during her tenure. She announced the readiness of the EU to continue supporting the reforms of the RA government.
During the meeting, the interlocutors highly appreciated the achievements achieved as a result of cooperation in the direction of deepening relations between Armenia and the European Union. In particular, the reforms carried out under the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement, as well as programs developed and implemented by the EU under the Economic and Investment Plan, which are of fundamental importance for the socio-economic sustainable development of the country, were noted. In this context, the Deputy Prime Minister stressed that the cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the European Union has been of an institutional nature for several years, providing periodic and constructive discussions between the parties at various venues, which are aimed at developing relations between the Republic of Armenia and the EU.
