ArmInfo.On September 14, the Armenian-Korean forum on economic cooperation will be held in Yerevan.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy, the forum is held to stimulate and expand economic cooperation between Armenia and Korea.
The event is organized by the RA Ministry of Economy in cooperation with the Korea Trade- Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA).
The forum will be attended by Korean companies operating in the field of electricity, water, metallurgy, etc. It is reported that meetings of Armenian and Korean entrepreneurs will be held in B2B format.
According to the customs data of the Republic of Armenia, in 2022, Armenia exported goods worth $10.6 million to the Republic of Korea, (2-fold more than a year ago). At the same time, imports increased by 94.5% to $88.2 million.
It should be noted that KOTRA is a non-profit organization designed to promote the development of business relations of the Republic of Korea around the world, which was established in 1962 by the government of the country. The main goal is to intensify the export of Korean goods. Representative offices of the agency currently operate in 84 countries around the world.
