ArmInfo. Last year, Armenia's wine exports totaled 4.7mln liters, a 52.2% increase as compared with 2021, with the customs value totaling $18.8mln (a 62.4%).
Last year, Russia's share in Armenia's wine exports reached 78.8% against 58.4% in 2021. The share of the United States is 6.1% (against 9.3% in 2021), followed by Belarus 1.4%, Israel (1.2%), France (over 1%), Ukraine (1%), Switzerland (0.8%). Among importers of Armenian wines are also Poland, Germany, China, Lithuania, Great Britain, Moldavia, India, the Netherlands, Belgium, Kazakhstan, Canada, Czech Republic, Georgia, Turkmenistan, Iraq, Latvia, Sweden, Japan, Australia, UAE, Estonia, and Bulgaria. Less than 1,000 liters were exported to Taiwan, Norway, Iceland, Kyrgyzstan, Hong Kong, Greece, Spain, Singapore, Denmark, Ireland, Slovenia, and Benin.
Last year, Armenia's wine exports saw a 61.1% increase against a 12.8% increase in 2021 - over 1mln liters. The customs value of the imported wines reached $4.5mln - a 77.6% increase.
Spain's share in Armenia's wine imports was 444.6%, Italy's, 21.7%, France's (13.2%), Chile's (7.2%), Russia's (5.2%) and Georgia's (2.1%). Armenia also imported wines from Germany, Austria, Belarus, Portugal, New Zealand, Moldova, and Argentina. Less than 1,000 liters were imported from Poland, Austria, the USA, Uruguay, Switzerland, Hungary.
In 2022, Armenia's wine output totaled 12.6mln liters, a 3.4% increase as compared with 2021.
