ArmInfo. The working group led by Armenian Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan will soon present a project of a new India-Europe transport corridor. This was stated on the sidelines of the "Free Economic Zones of Iran" exhibition by the head of the Armenian economic department Vahan Kerobyan. He stressed that the project will be presented to partners from Iran, India and Georgia.
"We aim to connect India with Europe via Iran, Armenia and Georgia, forming a so-called new transport corridor, which will allow part of the trade between India and Europe to pass through this route," the minister said.
According to him, the project envisages not only the strengthening of logistics ties, but also the simplification of document flow, the consonance of trade regimes, which will ensure fast and relatively financially affordable passage of goods along the specified route.
