ArmInfo.We have prepared a document on a permanent free trade regime between Iran and the EAEU countries for final signing. This was stated by the Minister of Economy of Armenia Vahan Kerobyan on the sidelines of the opening of the "Free Economic Zones of Iran" exhibition.
According to him, positions between the EAEU countries are being specified at this stage, after which the parties can proceed to the final signing of the document.
"Armenia, being the only land connection between Iran and the EAEU countries, is very interested in signing the agreement, which will expand the role of our country in relations between Iran and the EAEU," the minister stressed.
Earlier Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk said that an agreement on a free trade zone between Tehran and the EAEU could be reached earlier than with other countries.
