Hovannisyan expressed hope for strengthening Armenian-Iranian relations during Sobhani's tenure as head of the Iranian diplomatic mission in Armenia.
The head of the Ministry of Finance expressed his readiness to actively cooperate in the field of financing infrastructure, expanding trade turnover, tools for promoting private investment and a number of other important areas.
Mehdi Sobhani, in turn, emphasized the Iranian government's interest in developing relations between the two countries in all areas of financial and economic cooperation.
The interlocutors touched upon a number of other topics on the agenda of Armenian-Iranian relations, in particular, they discussed issues of deepening cooperation towards the effective exchange of experience and knowledge in the field of public finance.
