ArmInfo. At his meeting with Armenia's Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan, Vassilis Maragos, Ambassador, Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, reiterated the EU's readiness to assist the Armenian government's plans to support people forcibly displaced from Nagorno- Karabakh.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Finance, Mr Hovhannisyan, highly appreciating the current level of RA-EU cooperation, expressed his readiness to join efforts in further strengthening, expanding and increasing the effectiveness of this cooperation.
During the meeting, the head of the Ministry of Finance presented the economic situation in the Republic of Armenia, as well as short- and medium-term plans and tasks to support internally displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh. The parties also discussed issues related to increasing the efficiency of implementation of the RA-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement. The interlocutors also touched upon the EU budgetary assistance program, future cooperation and possible new directions within the framework of the EU Economic and Investment Plan.
