Armenia`s Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation  and Trade of Belarus

ArmInfo.The Ministry of Economy of Armenia and the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and  Trade of Belarus will expand cooperation. According to the press service of the department, the corresponding memorandum was signed by the Minister of Economy of Armenia Vahan Kerobyan and the Minister of  Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of Belarus Alexey Bogdanov.

According to the source, the memorandum obliges the parties to ensure  the further development of trade and economic cooperation between  Armenia and Belarus. In particular, it is planned to increase mutual  supplies of consumer goods.

At the same time, the heads of departments agreed to facilitate the  opening of Armenian trading houses on the territory of the Republic  of Belarus.

According to the RA Statistics Committee, foreign trade turnover  between Armenia and Belarus in January-August 2023 increased by  27.1%, providing a volume of $136.5 million. At the same time,  exports increased significantly by 97.5% to $71.5 million, with a  decline imports by 8.7% to $65 million.
