ArmInfo. Armenia and Georgia are starting cooperation in the field of food security. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy, referring to the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the parties.
In particular, the document was signed by the Ministry of Economy of Armenia, the Food Safety Inspection Body of Armenia, the National Food Agency of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia and the State Agricultural Laboratory of Georgia.
The memorandum provides for the expansion of cooperation in developing the potential of the veterinary industry, as well as interaction in identifying outbreaks of particularly dangerous diseases, their prevention and implementation of measures to combat them, the exchange of scientific information and experience in the field of veterinary medicine and the organization of scientific conferences and meetings.
