Company incorporated in Armenia blacklisted by Japan`s Ministry of  Economy and Trade

ArmInfo. Japan has introduced a new package of anti- Russian sanctions, which includes a  ban on imports of non-industrial Russian diamonds, export restrictions, and asset freezes, the country's Ministry of Economy and Trade said.

As part of the package, Japan imposes export restrictions on 57  companies, which include a number of industrial and defense  enterprises, aircraft makers, shipbuilders, and research  institutions. Their full list is unknown at this point.

It also blacklisted 35 individuals and 43 companies, whose assets in  Japan will be frozen if found.

Besides, starting January 1, the country will prohibit imports of  non-industrial Russian diamonds.

Japan also imposed sanctions on two companies from the UAE, one from  Armenia, one from Syria, and two from Uzbekistan, whom it suspects of  helping Russia bypass trade restrictions. The TAKO company  incorporated in Armenia is on the blacklist as well.
