ArmInfo. About 600-700 trucks are waiting to pass through the Upper Lars checkpoint, Customs Attache of the Armenian Embassy in Russia Vahan Hakobyan told ArmInfo.
In particular, at the moment, about 200-300,300 trucks have left Armenia, some of them are in Georgia, the other part is being processed at the Upper Lars checkpoint.
"About 300-400 trucks are returning from Russia, they are waiting for the road to open in order to return to the Republic of Armenia," Hakobyan noted.
This morning it was reported that the Cross Pass on the Gudauri-Kobi section of the Mtskheta- Stepantsminda-Lars highway is closed to freight transport in both directions due to snow and ice; passage for passenger cars is still allowed.
