ArmInfo. In 2023, the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia received 275 billion drams from the state budget of the country for the implementation of various programs, of which 270 billion drams were spent, Minister Gnel Sanosyan told a press conference.
He noted that the implementation of budget indicators, which relate to both capital and current expenditures, was 98%. Moreover, in terms of capital expenditures, the implementation rate turned out to be at the level of 96%, which is an unprecedentedly high figure compared to previous years. Sanosyan, for example, pointed to the fact that the implementation of subvention programs was 136.7% - instead of 22 billion drams, over 30 billion drams were spent.
In the field of road construction, a very high figure was also recorded, which amounted to 132%. It was planned to repair and build roads worth 45 billion drams, and programs worth about 60 billion drams were implemented. Moreover, quite good results were noted in the area of average road repairs, for which it was planned to attract 3.5 billion drams from the state budget, but in fact 6.5 billion drams were spent, which means 187% completion.
The minister also recalled the renovation program, for which it was initially planned to allocate 309 million drams, but due to a significant increase in the number of beneficiaries, these subsidies were increased to 863 million drams, and this, as Sanosyan noted, means 278% implementation of this program.
