ArmInfo. The State Revenue Committee of Armenia (SRC) summed up the results of 2023 with tax revenues in the amount of 2 trillion 221.9 billion drams, exceeding the previous year by 295.9 billion drams or 15.4%.
According to the press service of the State Revenue Committee of Armenia, the program target of 2 trillion 203.7 billion approved at the beginning of the year was exceeded by 18.2 billion drams. "About 362.9 billion drams were returned to taxpayers and individuals, exceeding the previous year's figure by 100.1 billion drams or about 38.1%. According to accounting documents (including cash receipts), 648.7 million transactions were carried out in the amount of 12.2 trillion drams, exceeding the previous year's figure of 45.0 million transactions and 2.1 trillion drams.
An unprecedented increase in jobs and average wages was recorded. The number of income-generating jobs amounted to about 738 thousand in November, exceeding the previous year's figure by 5.2%, the average salary was 293 thousand drams, an increase of 10.6%," the department reported.
The State Revenue Committee of Armenia emphasized that the implementation of the planned programs was completed in 2023. "The year was marked by effective administration in the tax field, simplification and digitalization of procedures, consistent reforms and legislative initiatives. The State Revenue Committee has also achieved important achievements in the direction of international cooperation," the SRC summarized.
