According to the author of the legislative initiative, MP from the ruling Civil Contract faction Eduard Aghajanyan, currently, when driving a car without compulsory motor liability insurance, Currently, driving a car without an insurance policy is subject to a fine of 100,000 drams. Under the proposed amendment, a person who eliminates the violation within 24 hours after committing an administrative offense will be exempt from the mandatory payment of 75% of the fine. That is, a citizen who has not concluded a compulsory motor liability insurance agreement will pay not 100 thousand drams, but 25% of the total fine (25 thousand drams).
