ArmInfo. Armenia's Minister of Ecponomy Vahan Kerobyan has left for Germany to participate in the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture 2024 (GFFA).
Mr Kerobyan is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with high-ranking officials.
On the first day, Mr Kerobyan visited Ferropolis, "the city of iron", an open-air museum of huge mid-20th century industrial machines in Grafenhainichen, Germany. He was accompanied by Dr. Sebastian Putz, State Secretary and Minister of Culture at the State Chancellery and Ministry of Culture of Saxony-Anhalt, and Mr Thies Schroder, Ferropolis, Managing Director.
The sides discussed Armenia's business environment and large-scale investment programmes in progress.
The GFFA 2024 aims at deepening and strengthening the agri-political dialogue. Around 2000 policymakers, scientists, business leaders and members of civil society will seize the opportunity to discuss and connect. Many GFFA events are public, among them 3 High Level Panek, 16 expert panel, a science slam and the opening ceremony.
