ArmInfo. Our companies should be the first, not the last adopters of Artificial Intelligence(AI) , Armenian Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan stated during the opening of the "AI for Business" forum.
He noted that artificial intelligence has a turning point, both for the economy and for humanity; moreover, AI is a powerful factor for increasing labor productivity, which is in tune with the main goal of the Ministry of Economy.
"I urge the business community to consider this forum as a good opportunity in the context of taking steps to increase productivity, modernization and competitiveness," Kerobyan said.
He recalled that last week the government decided to subsidize loans and provide grants to traditional enterprises that want to go in the direction of digital transformation, including the use of artificial intelligence tools.
The organizer of the forum is the Ministry of Economy of Armenia. The AI For Business conference has brought together leading IT specialists and experts in Yerevan to study modern artificial intelligence strategies. Speakers at the forum include CEO and founder of Embodied, Inc. Paolo Pirjanian, McKinsey & Company partner Leonid Kirakosyan and ABBYY founder and Board Director David Yang.
