ArmInfo.Portfolio of the program for modernizing the economy as of March 1, 2024, amounted to AMD 228bln. According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy, a total of 3,955 loan and leasing agreements were signed. Over the past 12 months, the portfolio growth amounted to AMD 12bln.
At the same time, the share of leasing agreements accounts for 65% and, accordingly, 35% for credit agreements, while 61% are dram loans, 39% are foreign currency ones. It is noteworthy that SMEs took advantage of the modernization program most of all (83%).
The sectoral breakdown of the program is as follows: 43% - manufacturing industry, 23% - construction, 13% - supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning, 9% - transportation and warehousing, 6% - healthcare and social services, 2% each to the mining industry and the information and communications sector, etc.
