"Ucom", "Team Telecom" and "Rostelecom" also turned off broadcast of  TV show with participation of Vladimir Solovyov

ArmInfo. "Ucom" and "Team Telecom" and "Rostelecom", synchronously with the Ministry of High-Technological Industry, turned off the broadcast of a TV show with the participation of Vladimir Solovyov on "Russia 1". Chairman of the "In the Name of the Republic" party, Arman Babajanyan, wrote on his Facebook page.

Earlier, the Armenian Broadcasting Network company stated that  Yerevan was blocking the broadcast of Vladimir Solovyov's programs on  the territory of the republic due to regular violations of the  provisions of the interstate agreement. "Television and Radio  Broadcasting Network of Armenia" CJSC, on the basis of Articles 5 and  6 of the agreement "On cooperation in the field of mass  telecommunications between the Government of the Republic of Armenia  and the Government of the Russian Federation" recently recorded the  fact of constant violations on the Russian side. As a result, the  Network blocked the broadcast of "Evening with Vladimir Solovyov" and  "Sunday evening with Vladimir Solovyov" TV shows on the territory of  Armenia, which were broadcast on the RA Public Multiplex by the  RTR-PLANETA television company," the broadcaster said in a statement.

Rostelecom service operators, when asked what caused the cessation of  broadcasting of programs with Solovyov's participation, noted that  these are technical problems of a temporary nature, and they are busy  eliminating them. It is noteworthy that Rostelecom users also faced  such a problem as the possibility of viewing programs already  broadcast on Russian-language channels.

Meanwhile, according to telecom experts the cable operators of  Armenia received the signal from the national multiplex. And since  the national multiplex stopped broadcasting Solovyov's programs,  cable operators also automatically stopped broadcasting the said TV  shows. Earlier, Minister of High-tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan  announced that in the near future consultations will be held in  Moscow within the framework of the cooperation agreement in the field  of mass telecommunications between Armenia and Russia.

According to him, Armenia will present decisions and proposals  regarding the settlement of the issue related to the broadcasting of  Russian TV channels in Armenia, which are based both on the logic of  the Agreement and on the interests of the Republic of Armenia.  Hayrapetyan also emphasized that the tools operating under the  Agreement to control and prevent such content do not work.
