ArmInfo.At a meeting with Ambassador of Japan to Armenia Aoki Yutaka, Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan suggested the Japanese side to consider the possibilities of expanding relations in the fields of agriculture, tourism and effective water resources management.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Armenia, Papoyan pointed to the existing effective cooperation between the two countries and considered cooperation in the direction of construction and infrastructure support, as well as the establishment of Academic City to be promising.
In turn, the Ambassador noted that the Japanese market may be interested in Armenian agricultural products, culture and history.
The interlocutors also touched upon Armenia's participation in the World EXPO 2025 which will be held in Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
