
ArmInfo. The Civil Aviation Committee of Armenia has officially joined the Joint Authorities for Rulemaking on Unmanned Systems (JARUS). This was reported by th Civil Aviation Committee's press service, citing the results of the JARUS plenary meeting, which took place in Kazakhstan.
During the visit, the delegation of the Civil Aviation Committee, headed by Deputy Chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee Stepan Payaslyan, held informal meetings with the President, Vice President and Secretary General of JARUS, as well as with representatives of the aviation authorities of Kazakhstan, Australia, Georgia, Great Britain, Slovakia, Poland, Spain, Canada , Russia, Kyrgyzstan.
During the meetings, issues related to the regulation of unmanned systems, as well as the issuance of permits, were discussed.
According to the source, agreements were reached on the exchange of experience. JARUS serves as a platform for the exchange of knowledge, experience and best practices in the field of regulation of unmanned aircraft and solving current problems.
During the plenary session, which was attended by members of the Organization from more than 60 countries, they discussed issues on the development of regulatory documents on unmanned aircraft systems in the following areas: licensing and operations.
