ArmInfo.Russia's experience in building underwater fiber-optic link may be relevant, including for Armenia. This was stated by Alexey Ordin, Digital Attache of the Trade Mission of the Russian Federation in Armenia, during a press conference on June 5. "This is a good field for developing bilateral technological cooperation," he said.
In this context, Ordin recalled the statement of the Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia that the country intends to develop the direction of building underwater fiber-optic link in the coming years.
"And here I would like to mention Russia. Because Russia has organizations that have built underwater communication lines in very difficult conditions - this includes the Baltic, the Black Sea, and Sakhalin- Magadan-Kamchatka", the Digital Attache noted.
