ArmInfo. The South Caucasus Railway company announces the launch of a seasonal international train Yerevan-Batumi-Yerevan, the first flight of which will take place on June 24. The company's press service reports this.
The source notes that the train will run until October 1 of this year. The train to Batumi will depart from Yerevan every other day. During the summer season, traffic on the Yerevan-Tbilisi-Yerevan route is suspended; it will be possible to get to Tbilisi by Batumi train. Over the 5 months of 2024, 217 thousand passengers were transported by SCR trains, which is 12% more than the same figure in 2023.
