ArmInfo.As part of his working visit to the Russian Federation, Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan met with Mr Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade, and Mr Omar Ahmed Suwaina Al Suwaidi, UAE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology.
The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the field of agriculture, export promotion, and issues related to quality standardization. The interlocutors also touched upon programs where the Arab side will be able to act as a co-investor.
In particular, Papoyan invited UAE representatives to consider the possibility of their participation in the Dry Port project, which will be implemented in Gyumri. He also spoke about the government's project "Crossroads of the World", which is aimed at creating sustainable peace and stability in the region.
