ArmInfo. Armenia's Vice-Premier Mher Grigoryan hosted outgoing Ambassador of China to Armenia Fan Yong.
According to the press service of the RA government, at the beginning of the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister thanked the ambassador for the work done during his diplomatic mission and contribution to the development of Armenian-Chinese relations.
The Chinese Ambassador, in turn, thanked the Deputy Prime Minister for the warm and constructive relations and support provided during his tenure.
The interlocutors discussed the main directions of Armenian-Chinese cooperation, emphasized the growth of registered trade turnover and exchanged ideas on the prospects for developing relations in areas of mutual interest. Both sides emphasized the importance of Armenia's involvement in large regional projects, and noted the need to deepen cooperation in the field of education.
The Deputy Prime Minister and the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China also emphasized the importance of intensifying contacts between the Armenian and Chinese peoples from the point of view of developing interstate relations between the two countries.
